Nouvelle Bibliothèque de l'École des hautes études, Sciences historiques et philologiques Series
The Nouvelle Bibliothèque de l'École des hautes études, Sciences historiques et philologiques continues to embody the spirit of the EPHE-PSL: to work on the scientific study of the historical object by mobilizing philological skills in order to participate in the understanding of past societies through the traces that remain of them.
Its aim is to promote scholarly research by making it accessible to the educated public in the following disciplines: philology and history of the ancient, medieval, modern and contemporary worlds, rare languages and the history of the book. It complements other series, both periodical (Hautes études du monde gréco-romain, Hautes études médiévales et modernes) and thematic (Hautes études orientales, Histoire et civilisation du livre), offering the best publication outlet for contemporary, transdisciplinary or transchronic studies.
