Digital resources

The EPHE-PSL's digital resources include catalogues, databases, books and online journal packages, as well as articles and electronic theses deposited in open archives by our researchers and young doctors. Digital resources are also digitized archives, a token of the scientific history of our institution.

With its dual involvement in PSL University and the Campus Condorcet, the EPHE-PSL has worked to increase the visibility of its documentary collections:

  • the printed collections listed in the EPHE-PSL catalogue can be seen in the Humathèque catalogue (a major documentary resource of the Campus Condorcet) as well as in the PSL catalogue;
  • EPHE-PSL staff and students also have access to subscriptions to the online journals and databases of PSL University and Campus Condorcet.

 

Catalogue and electronic documentation of the Campus Condorcet 

The Humathèque is the major academic and research library of the Campus Condorcet. These days , the Humathèque brings together about fifty libraries and documentary collections, mainly in the humanities and social sciences, from member institutions including the EPHE-PSL. In addition to consulting our paper collections, the Humathèque provides access to electronic documentation via its catalogue.

The catalogue can be searched according to five thematic entries:

  • search in the catalogue: simple or advanced search on all the paper and electronic resources kept or acquired by the Humathèque;
  • search for a periodical: search for a journal title to which the Humathèque subscribes;
  • search by author, title or subject: pre-filtered search on all the paper and electronic resources kept or acquired by the Humathèque;
  • search for a database: these can be bibliographic databases as well as statistical databases or various scientific databases. Consult the alphabetical list of databases to which the Humathèque is subscribed;
  • Press Room: access the Europresse press article database with your institutional authentication.

Catalogue and electronic documentation of PSL University

As the gateway to the documentary and heritage collections of PSL University's libraries, archives and museums, PSL-Explore is PSL's dissemination site for knowledge and research.

Staff, students and auditors have access to electronic resources (databases and journals) acquired by all PSL University institutions. 

  • The PSL catalogue: is a meta-catalogue that allows research on all paper and electronic documentary collections held or acquired by PSL University institutions, including the EPHE. The catalogue makes it possible to locate the documentation and to know the conditions of access.
  • Databases: Choose a database from the ones offered and do your research. Some examples: American Chemical Society; Archives of the newspaper Le Monde; Brepols, Brill, Cairn.Info, etc. The databases can be sorted by category: "Arts, letters, languages", "Humanities and social sciences", "Sciences".
  • Journals A-Z: PSL also offers its catalogue of online journals.

The EPHE-PSL Online Scientific Archives 

Digital Library

The digitized collections of the EPHE-PSL are put online on the PSL-Explore digital library website. They thus join all the collections digitized by other PSL members such as the Collège de France or the École Normale Supérieure.

HAL-EPHE open archive

HAL-EPHE is the institutional portal for scientific productions submitted by the EPHE-PSL's researchers, engineers and scientific collaborators, i.e. people attached to laboratories affiliated to the EPHE-PSL at the time of submission. It provides and allows research on full-text documents (theses, articles, book chapters, etc.) as well as bibliographic records.
