The research seminar at EPHE-PSL, also referred to as a lecture, serves as a space for scholarly engagement, knowledge exchange, and collective intellectual reflection.

Through these seminars, a close relationship is fostered between faculty and students, whether they are enrolled in a doctoral program or pursuing a master’s degree.

The exceptional breadth of research topics offered by EPHE-PSL is further enhanced by the seminars being open to the public. It offers a direct entry into the world of academic research, with subjects ranging from the languages and religions of pre-Islamic Central Asia, the major monotheistic traditions, Chinese archaeology, papyrology, Hebrew, Latin, and Byzantine paleography, Greek dialectology, to digital humanities.
