Preserving and transmitting the history of ancient civilizations and worlds
The treasures contained in archeological sites are under threat everywhere, as are ancient languages and texts. We are acting in the field across the globe to raise awareness regarding the importance of preserving and transmitting this material and immaterial heritage. Our documentary collections are full of sound recordings, old photographs, and precious books that have marked the history of international relations, diplomacy, war, medicine, and religion. Our research helps develop critical thinking in the service of a globalized world.
Example of project
Fundraising objective: 150,000 € over 4 years is required to implement a global protection plan for the necropolis, a prerequisite for the continuation of research and restoration work and for showcasing this exceptional heritage to the general public.
