Founded in 2010, Paris Brain Institute is a leading scientific and medical research center dedicated to the study of the nervous system and the development of new therapeutic approaches for neurological diseases. Its integrative model brings together patients, clinicians, researchers, and entrepreneurs to facilitate the rapid translation of fundamental discoveries into clinical innovation. Located within the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, it brings together more than 1,000 international specialists across 29 research teams, supported by 12 technology platforms, a clinical research center, training programs, and an innovation ecosystem including a startup studio and a living lab.
The institute is based on a joint research unit (CNRS, Inserm, Sorbonne University) and the ICM Foundation, a recognized public interest organization, in partnership with the AP-HP.
