EPHE-PSL develops and defends basic research, all while remaining attentive to the concrete applications that can be drawn from it. It creates new interdisciplinary approaches to help solve the environmental, medical, health, social, religious, ethical, and cultural issues facing the contemporary world.
Examples of projects
Fundraising objective: 500,000€ over 6 years is required to shed light on the ecological importance of these animals and raise awareness among decisionmakers and the general public about the necessity of protecting marine animal forests.
Fundraising objective: 190,000€ over 3 years is required to lay the groundwork for sustainable typhoid fever surveillance in Indonesia and push back this disease, which primarily affects children.
