The original role of EPHE-PSL was to introduce a unique method of training to the academic world, based on the organization of research seminars and laboratory work.
In keeping with this long tradition, the research seminar at EPHE-PSL, also known as a conference, remains today a place of scholarship, knowledge sharing, and collegial reflection.
This teaching practice, specific to the Departments of Historical and Philological Sciences and Religious Studies, is a distinctive feature of our School and fosters the interweaving of teaching and research.
